Opponauts, I need advice.
I am looking for sunglasses. My priority is good aesthetics, and I prefer polarized lenses. Budget is $ 120 or less.
I have only ever had aviators, but I'm interested in maybe trying something else. I do not want to look like a douche, haha.
What do all of you wear? What do you recommend?

I have a pair of RayBan Clubmasters and I absolutely love them. I have the folding version, which are stupidly expensive, but they were a gift and honestly I rarely fold them up into their smallest form. I'm pretty sure normal Classic Clubmasters, like in the picture below, can be gotten for around $150 (so above budget, but you could find a similar style made by someone other than RayBan for less, I would assume). They don't look great on everyone's face, but they suit mine well and I've gotten a ton of compliments on them.

It depends on the shape of your face!
More rounded faces are generally benefited by square-edged lenses. Think balance. Whatever you wish your face more looked, get sunglasses that do that. To the observer, sunglasses dramatically reshape your face. So have fun and complement yourself!
Also, a general rule is that men's sunglasses should not completely cover the eyebrows. Fun fact.

Smith Serpico for all your aviator needs. Polarized lenses are available but their standard optics are pretty good too. Prices vary but your should be able to find either option within your budget.
Sorry about the silly sized image.

Honestly, if you are going to spend the money I would make sure you're getting the lenses that are top notch.
I wear Oakley's, they have some of the best and most protective lenses (from sun and physically). I use the Five Squared, though some may think that's a douchey style. Oakley's polarized lenses are really good too.
I would look into oakley, smith, maui jim, or revo. My brother has a pair of smiths he really likes, and I tend to stick with Oakley, both have treated us very well.
Here is another reason I prefer oakley:

I got something like this;
But the temples/earpeices on mine are black with a white stripe. I kind of have an oddly shaped head though.

Haha, definitely yes to the eyebrows part.
My wife tells me that aviators look good on me, but I am curious about experimenting. Thanks for the tips!

Interesting, hadn't heard of them. Thanks!

I love the look of Clubmasters, but I don't know that I can pull them off. Wayfarers maybe, but I haven't had the opportunity to try some on yet and see.

Yizzurd. I am personally in love with Ray Ban Clubmasters right now. Retro as fuck, but not totally played out yet. I have a pair in tortoise shell, and my GF has them in black.

Solid, thanks for the recommendations! I'll definitely look them up.
Can't see the video at work, haha. Hopefully I'll remember to look later.

They are super nice; I can't pull them off, sadly, but I love the look.

I got a pair of knock-off folding Clubmasters in China. Love love love them. The black/gold looks classy as fuck, but I got them in tortoise shell.

I've had a pair of Dillon Optics Drakes (top) for just over 2 years now and love them. Quality is excellent, polarization is great, and they look fantastic.
If you're an Aviator guy, the Greasewood (bottom) may be more your style.
They are above your stated budget, but if you take care of your glasses, the money invested is worth it in my opinion.

Damn, I want some of these so badly. Especially cause I'm rocking the Don Draper haircut right now haha

I rock the Oakley Holbrooks. Polarized, about $120, good looking. Can't go wrong. Helps that there are like a million color choices (black on black for me)

I have Ray Ban aviators and I still really like them. I also have a cheaper pair of rose tinted ones that I use at the shotgun range. They're fun, because everyone looks tan in them.

I got these a few months ago. They're the Original Wayfarers with the 50mm non-polarized lenses. I really like them. They fit well and feel really solid when you pick them up. They can send out kind of a brotastic vibe, but they're a classic shape from a classic brand, so I don't mind. The patterned inside is an extra bonus. I picked them up for just under $90, so you could probably find them with polarized lenses within your budget.

I've got a pair of ray ban polarized caravans I absolutely love mine are a gift but they should run in about the 120 range.

Just came here to post about these. I picked up a pair of the greasewoods a couple weeks ago and love them! Not cheap, but worth it. Pro tip for anyone buying them: go to the smoking tire's website and click on the Dillon optics ad (you'll get a free TST shit).

Large; no point in sunglasses that don't block out the sun. Rounded lenses.

I wear these Maui Jim's and I absolutely love them. I know they are a bit above budget but they are definitely worth it. The frames are super light and comfortable, I often forget I'm wearing them after 5 minutes. The lenses are also fantastic, much better than Oakleys that I have tried. They are also described as driving sunglasses and I can confirm they are great for that haha.

As someone who wears prescription eyeglasses in order to not be blind, I've done a ton of research over the years on frames and lens types.
My recommendation would be to get a good picture of your face and upload it to one of the cheap Chinese eyeglasses vendor websites. That way, you can use their "virtual try-on" thing, which I've found to be very helpful in determining if I can pull off a particular frame style. Get somebody to measure (or do it yourself in a mirror) the distance between your eyes (in mm), which is the "Single PD" number you might get asked for, and you're all set.
I generally use http://zennioptical.com/ . I wouldn't buy "good" sunglasses from them, as the quality of their polarization filter seems to be pretty mixed, but if you just wanted 3 or 4 pairs of tinted-but-not-polarized different styles to try out and see which you like, you could definitely do that.
For lens material, if you don't have a prescription, it won't make much difference. CR39 resin is cheapest and generally fine. Polycarbonate lenses are much tougher. Trivex is what I wear, it's the lightest weight material, it's visual quality is closest to optical glass of any of the plastics, and it's literally bulletproof.

Thoughts on these, then? Ray Ban Justins - large, classic shape. Slightly more rounded than Wayfarers.

I wear Oakleys. Now, I think Oakley has a reputation for being "for douchebags" but honestly, I like them more for how good they are than what they make me look like. Someone else has touched on this, but Oakley is very particular about the quality of the lenses (good warranty on them too) and they protect your eyes from the sun very well, and also act as safety glasses if they ever needed to. There are loads of styles and some are more subtle than others, so I'd at least check them out. You should be able to get something good within your budget, but some of the styles go up to 160-180.

Neither did I to be honest. I bought mine through amazon prime if that helps.
